Deposits & Cancellation Policy
Reservations must be guaranteed with a VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card. A deposit of 50% of your entire stay is due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance for your stay will be due at check out.
CANCELLATIONS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED BY PHONE.
Reservations of One to Six Nights (1- 5 nights) – Cancellations made up to 48-hours (2 days) prior to your arrival will receive a deposit refund less a $25 cancellation fee per room. Cancellations made with less than 48-hours (2 days) notice prior to arrival, or no-shows, will be charged room and tax for the entire stay booked. In the event you do not arrive on the confirmed arrival date, your reservation will be cancelled and room and tax for your entire stay will be charged to your credit card. Departing early will be regarded as a last-minute cancellation, and the guest will be charged room and tax for the entire stay booked.
Reservations for stays 7 nights or more – Cancellations for reserved stays of one week (6 nights) or more are due 14 days prior to arrival and are subject to a cancellation fee of 15% of the total stay. In the event you do not arrive on the confirmed arrival date, your reservation will be cancelled and room and tax for your entire stay will be charged to your credit card. Departing early will be regarded as a last-minute cancellation, and the guest will be charged room and tax for the entire stay.
Check-in & Check Out Times-
Check-in time for arriving guests begins at 3 p.m. Check out time for departing guests is 11 a.m. For your security, a photo ID is required upon check-in to verify your reservation. To ensure rooms are ready for our arriving guests, we ask that you adhere to our policy of 11:00am checkout. Late departure fees will be applied after 11:00 am at $ 30.00 per hour. Checking out after 2:00 pm will result in another night stay being charged to your bill. All check- ins and check outs take place at the front desk at the Camden Riverhouse Hotel at 11 Tannery Lane.
No Smoking and Pets Policy
Dedicated to providing a clean, comfortable and relaxing environment for both our guests and staff, the Camden Riverhouse Inn is proudly 100% SMOKE FREE. We ask that all guests refrain from smoking in all rooms, balconies, and common areas. Guests may be asked to leave without reimbursement and assessed a cleaning charge ($250 minimum) if it has been determined that they have been smoking in their room or other areas of the Inn.
No Dogs/Pets are allowed at the Inn. The Riverhouse Hotel is Dog Friendly. Call to check on availability. Prior arrangements for dogs is required at the Hotel.
Our promise is to provide you with a fresh, clean room. We also take our commitment to the environment very seriously and strive to freshen up without wasting our natural resources unnecessarily. Towards this common goal, housekeeping services are scheduled based on the number of nights you will be staying with us.
- For 7 or more night stays: One “full service” housekeeping is provided each week. Please refer to the key packet you receive at check-in for your scheduled housekeeping service day.
*Dishes are not washed during service.
Parking for the Inn is located in a gated lot approximately one block from the Inn. A parking card key will be provided at check-in. A lost key fee of $50 will be charged to your credit card if the card is not returned at check out.
We promise no additional fees will be charged at the last minute. Our suite rate is for double occupancy and is subject to a Maine State lodging tax of 9%(subject to change). Detailed information is available here.
